Co-op Local Forum update: help us choose local causes to receive 1%

Local causes – vote now to choose for round 2

You can vote now to choose the next local causes to receive 1% in Chorlton, Hulme, Moss Side and Whalley Range.

Since the ‘Back to being Co-op ‘membership relaunch in September 2016, 1% of everything local members spend on Co-op brand products has gone to local causes. That’s quite a lot of money – more than £10,000 will be shared between the three local causes we chose in Chorlton and Whalley Range (Women Asylum Seekers Together, Chorlton Good Neighbours and The Woodcraft Folk).

Now it’s time to choose the causes for the next round, from March to August. So vote now on-line – only takes a few seconds

Chorlton and Whalley Range is the only area in the UK where members have had a say in choosing the three causes. Now we have a chance to show how well this can work in round 2 of the funding. So please encourage friends to vote too.
